Yeah, if they're going to keep showing her naked, they can fill those dead periods with the reporter over Deb/her love interest every time.

I can't beleive Michael C. Hall isn't in a ton of other movies/tv shows. I never watched "6 Feet Under" but if it's anything like his work on Dexter, this guy is one of the great actors out there. He really captures Dexter in a way very few actors capture a role.

I've only seen the first season of Six Feet Under and he is very good on that show. Nice change of pace for him to do Dexter, actually.

I think he's only starting to look into doing features. He did that one bad movie this summer. I think it'll be hard for him to get a serious role, though.

Finally watched this weeks episode. Very good as usual. I feel bad for Anton. Dude gets butchered up, takes a gig to spend more time with his lady, and then gets cheated on and kicked to the curb. I wonder if we will see some kind of revenge take place.

I don't mind the relationship stuff although Batista/Laguarda is a little weird. Smart move by Angel though planting the trap with Quinn's side piece.

Yeah MiKe Hall is a great actor, i never messed an ep of six feet under and I was worried when I heard he'd be in dexter that i'd see him as that guy from six feet under but he plays each role so perfectly I never got the vibe of the six feet under guy in his work on dexter at all.

You should go watch six feet under, it's amazing how it's the same guy but yet it's not at all. He's incredible.

Pretty slow ep but the way Trinity flipped on Dexter was pretty crazy.

I was watching Cash on Starz and saw a familiar face. Good ole Agent Lundy made a cameo appearance.

as that is the biggest issue I have had with this season along with other relationship crap though that *might* be decreasing from here on out....I at least hope so.

Here's hoping we get a solid 2nd half.

I don't think angel's relationship is much of a spoiler steveo but i know what you mean. Honestly I suspect they are setting that up for a bigger event near the end of the season, perhaps their relationship will end up with one of them being killed or someone else being killed?

Tried to watch it based on very favorable reviews, like your own, but could not get into it. I saw enough of Michael Hall's performance to know what you are talking about though. He is an outstanding actor.
Looks like Dexter will be getting very annoyed by Quinn's nosiness next episode.

I wonder what that look meant? With the shed locked, will Dexter create a secret entrance? I can't imagine him doing his "vigilantism" there.

It just meant that all his tools of the trade are right there, locked because of his wife suggested it be locked away from the kids. All his toys will remain untouched.

Same reason that james Gandlofini (Tony Soprano) hasn't really gotten anything good since the Sopranos ended. When you're too good in a role you get pigeon holed from doing other roles because the character connection is too strong. I know any time I see Gandlofini in an interview, in the crowd at a football game (Jets\Bills game and his kid kinda looked like AJ) and espceially a movie I can't get Tony Soprano out of my mind and half expect Silvio to show up beside him. Price of fame and doing a show too well. He even had that Tony Soprano look at the football game like he was mulling over his next hit.

I took my kid to the movie Where the Wild Things are and he was one of the main voices and he still registered as Tony because his voice is so distinctive,
