Still have 2 of them from when I was a kid. Guess we've had them since early 70's.

      Re: The Ouija board

I used a Ouija board one time about 20 years ago, but it provided a very weird and spooky experience.

My buddies decided to pick one up and called me to come over to give it a whirl. When I got there, they told me to ask it a question. I decided to ask it for the initials of the girl that I was going to marry. It hovered around and went to the letters "A" and "K". At the time, I was in a pretty serious relationship with a girl whose initials were "A" and "S", so I asked the Ouija board the same question again as I did not know anyone with the initials it gave me the first time. After a few minutes it finally went to the "A" and "S" that I thought I would get the first time.

The ironic part? Over 2 years later I met my future wife in college. Her initials? "A" and "K".

            Re: The Ouija board

I think the Quija Board is legit... The thing is 1. There has to be some sort of spirit or paranormal activity in the house 2. Need serious people on the board..

It's hard to believe in the paranormal and I would expect one to.. The only real way to believe it is to have experiences yourself... Problem is there are more people that don't believe or don't want to believe. I have attempted the Quija Board a long time ago in middle schoo however, we were all laughing and people were moving on purpose

              Re: The Ouija board

I believe that if we call on or entertain spirits, they will respond. The Ouija board itself is a means of doing so. Growing up, we were all very fascinated with seances, where we would try and call on relatives who have passed etc. It could not only be the Ouija board...it could be any attempt to communicate with such spirits.

Is it dangerous? That's the mystery.
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

Not religious and I don't believe in spirits, so I personally believe the Ouija Board to be a crock of ****.

My mother is a sane woman. Even she is freaked out because I told her I was going to get it. She said she ended up with a angry spirit/demon and it got so intense she had to leave. I told her that it's going to stay in my apartment, but all she said was "I do not want you to get hurt"

This is coming from a woman who is agnostic. I am not religious at all.

When she said that I was like hell yes!

I also heard things about leprachauns and stuff...Any truth to that? Cannot believe I asked that.

It's already freakin me out...And I am pretty level headed.
