    Where can I get cheap speaker wires?

    I need wires to connect my home theater system but I have no idea what I should be looking for or how much I should spend. I already know I'm not wasting money on Monster's overpriced stuff but is there a specific site or store that I can go to?

      You may take a SLIGHT hit on quality, but the prices are outrageously low. All the reviews for the 12AWG Enhanced Loud Oxygen-Free Copper SPEAKER WIRE Cable seen to be positive.


      And Monoprice is legit... no scam... I've ordered from them before.

          The quality will be the same if the specifications are the same as any other wire.

                  Lowes, Home Depot even Walmart have decent speaker cable cheap, probably end up being cheaper than Monoprice after shipping.

                  Thicker is better, but only really necessary if you have long distance runs.

                      go to Home Depot and buy some 16 gauge wire. It comes in a big roll.

                          Monoprice is one of the better and more inexpensive places to order cables online. I use their wires for my 7.1 setup and everything sounds perfect.
