    HDMI capture card?

I have an XBOX Elite with HDMI output. I'm wanting to get a capture card to take screen shots of my games but I've noticed that none of them have HDMI capabilities. Is there any way for me to get a capture card to work if I buy one with regular video inputs/outputs?

    Black Magic Intensity Pro.

I'm ordering one this week actually

By FAR the cheapest and still apparently good quality Hi Def capture option.

The only problem I have with this device is that it has to installed on my computer. I'm really looking for something external. Are there any external HDMI capture cards? I want to have something that I can use with a MacBook. My PC is in another room from my 360 and my TV.

Don't know of any affordable options for Mac.

But if you have a Windows laptop you could try Hauppauge's HD PVR

Internal to a PC is the only affordable HDMI capture available at the moment. External will cost you a pretty penny. $1595 actually

The powers at be want to protect 1080p material so expect external/portable capture to be expensive.

I have a HAVA titanium Wifi box that allows you to stream and capture HD material via component cables. It's basically a slingbox that's also allows you to save material. You can save content to a flash drive or external hard drive. Works great. Paid $120 for the HAVA and $99 for a 1TB external hard drive.

EDIT: This WD Media player might be worth a look for $99

All I want is to be able to take good quality screenshots of 360 games. I don't really care that much about video, eventhough I'm sure I'd use it if I had it. I want to be able to take screenshots for my dynasty page. If anyone can give me a detailed explanation of how this might be done I'd really appreciate it.

For quality screenshots and external, your only real option is the Hauppauge HD-PVR that Admiral50 linked you to. It's an external box that connects to your PC via USB. I haven't read up on it lately but I know there were some initial issues with Macs but I believe they've since cleared that up.
