MONOPRICE.COM
Seriously, why buy cables and adapters anywhere else? Crazy cheap, fast shipping, minimal packaging (less waste than those stupid plastic shell cases that fill our landfills).. good stuff.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

IMO I'm never gonna notice all the little things that a lot of the video/audio people do, so why spend the money?Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

40" Samsung LED, with a nice tweak or two inside the menu's of your PS3, the video is excellent. Killzone 2 looks amazing on it, and almost in 3D.Comment

Hahaha is that's what's happening? I didn't hear about any of that. So they're getting a smaller "TV" for the stadium then? Hilarious.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

Re: Nba live 10 PS3
LOL. Really depends on his budget.
Even though you won't really notice the difference, you can get a good 1080p 32 inch LCD HDTV for around $500-600. You'll save about $150 if you get a 720p set.
The larger you go, the more important 1080p becomes. IMO, 1080p doesn't become a requirement until around 46-50 inches. Unless you are sitting right up close to the screen, you won't really notice the difference in resolution. Let's be honest, to get the full enjoyment out of the PS3, 360, blu rays you'd want to get the biggest and best display you can comfortably afford.
If you're mainly looking at gaming you will probably want to stick with a LCD. IMO, plasmas give you a more life-like image and much much better black levels. I'd take a 42inch 720p Panasonic plasma over a lot of the 37-40 inch 1080p LCD sets (minus the brands listed below).
If money is not a concern look at 1080p LCD HDTVs from Samsung, Sony, LG or a 1080p plasma from Panasonic or Pioneer. The Pioneer kuros are rated as the best flat panel display money can buy (they cost a pretty penny).
If money is somewhat of a concern, give Vizio a look. Easily the best budget brand out there right now. I'd stay far away from budget brands like Coby, Viore, Element, etc. The old saying goes, "you get what you pay for"Last edited by GAMEC0CK2002; 09-01-2009, 07:47 PM.Comment
