    Smallville Season 9

Starts this month and I cant wait. Though it wont be the traditional Red and Blue we see Clark take on the Identity of Superman and wear the /S\ on his chest. Their bringing in lots of DC characters to this year Metallo, Zod, The Wonder Twins, The JSA. Only thing I dont like is the move to Friday but I can adjust.

I didn't even know it was moving to Friday! And I agree - too much competition on Thursday. I can PVR it Friday and watch it then or later.

I do think they should make this the final year. The last couple years have had some great episodes and then a ton of filler episodes because they don't want to advance the story too fast. I'm tired of the filler ones and I really hope we get more Lois! If they know this year is the last one, they will pack it full of good stuff.

I'm in the same boat, Thursday's are stacked with shows that I watch. The Friday move works for me as well. Can't wait for it to start!

On Thursday's there is just too much that I watch, more than any other week. Like The Office, Supernatural, Smallville, TNA Wrestling (nice for the rerun on Saturdays), and Parks and Recreations. I am fine with this moving to Friday nights. My DVR is like a workhorse during the TV seasons.

I am getting tired of the filler episodes too. Last season began in such an awesome way and then it continued for most of the season before things started going whacky again.

Same here on the Friday thing. Only show I watch on Friday's is Psych. No problem though because I am usually at a football game so I can set them to record. On Thursday, I could never record Smallville because of others show and had to download it the next day.

Zatanna was my favorite episode of last year, and I'm with you on the Lois thing. She was MIA way too much especially in the second half of the season after the long break. Sorry to say I was not devastated by the loss of Jimmy, and the explanation of his brother as the probable real Jimmy Olsen was satisfying.
Season 8 started off well but Doomsday was a real drag.

Yeah doomsday was crapola! In the comic he kills Superman, literally! And Clark resurrects even larger and more powerful than ever.

In the series Doomsday, kills Clark Kent as a name, not him all together! Weak stuff! And I'm glad he'll finally be Superman, I know you saw the logo in the bottom of the screen, and he's wearing the black, like new superman did!

Not sure I'm crazy about the black suit.

He's finally Superman and he's finally flying...I have no problem with that suit. It's modern day compared to leather and tights. The series has always tried going to a modern day Superman, not one of the 70's and 80's! I can respect that.

                            Comic Superman!
