Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day

That's right...it's been 10 years, but this movie is finally going to come out.

It may be terrible, but I'll still see it solely because I loved the first and this one looks pretty similar.

I've already watched the trailer 3 times tonight. I'm so excited and I need to see the first one again now

I didn't hate it but I never got all the hype around Boondock Saints.

Just my opinion, it was somewhat quirky but not the flash of genius people raved about.

I enjoyed the movie, but it was just another movie to me. I never understood why everyone was so gaga over it. And being a film student, people used to say: "You haven't seen Boondock Saints? You, a film student, haven't seen it?"

So, I watched it and like I said, I liked it, but I don't understand what made it so amazing to watch. It was just another good movie.

Agreed. I didn't dislike it, but it wasn't amazing either. It was an average movie I thought.

Same here, though I probably liked it less than you did.

Yeah, I found it cheap used and got it cause a bunch of my friends loved it and I wasn't really that impressed.

The badassness of it comes off as corny to me.

Probably because everyone talked about how great it was, and no matter how good the movie is, it wouldn't hold up to the expectations placed on it. That's how it normally works with me anyways.

Take Sin City for example. All kinds of people loved that movie, as did all of my friends. I finally sat down to watch it about 2 years after it was released and I ended up turning it off in the middle.

Probably. I thought Willem Dafoe was absolutely great, though. Really made him respect him much more as an actor. Any word if he is in the sequel?
