    Black Crowes New Music

    The first CD is pretty good. I haven't listened to them since their second CD after Shake Your Money Maker. I think it was called Southern Harmony.

    Anyway, the new music has a few songs with some jams in them. They included a free download second disk with a unique code.

    For some reason, I can't find this unique code. The first CD looks like a vinyl record. I've looked at the cover art, and sleeve jacket. They did include a sticker, but I don't see any code on that, either.

    Anyone else purchase Before the Frost/Until the Freeze?

      Ah, never mind, I'm an idiot.

      I discovered something similar to a credit card with the Black Crowes name on it in the car. It must have fell out of the CD cover.

      It has the code on it.

      So far, the first 7 songs on the 1CD is good. I heard the second CD is more of a country flavor to it.

          Love The Black Crowes. This album is good, but I really enjoyed Warpaint. I like the idea of this, and you are right, start of the first album is great. I like more of their rock sound, but Southern Rock is pretty popular right now, and they are some of the best at the sound (besides Kings of Leon).

              I need to get my hands on Warpaint, I bypassed that one. Yeah, I like their bluesy-rock sound and they did a few nice jams on the first one.

              I think the second one is more like the last song, more country, but even that one is pleasant to hear if the mood is right.

              Drive by Truckers are good too.

                  I listened to Before the Frost today for the first time and loved it. Has a nice country-jam band type sound throughout. I Ain't Hiding is my favorite song of the year - absolutely love it.
