I know I'm not the only one who was/is a real big fan of this style of music from the early 90s? Most of those songs you can still play to this day at parties/functions/family gatherings, etc. This is probably the greatest song to come from that era:

BBD was the best thing about New Edition imo, and I was a big fan of New Edition. Them boys had swag for real, everything they did was cool. I got CDs with nothing but New Jack, BBD, Bobby Brown, Al B. Sure, Christopher Williams, Father MC, Guy etc.

That was a great time man. I was thinking of throwing an early 90's era house party when I go home later on. I'm still working on getting my flat top back.

Not a big fan of hip-hop/rap or R&B. But I was down with NJS!

I got some Teddy Riley in my Ipod. Music made you feel good. No matter what mood I was in, it was better after listening to some NJS.

Man I got teary-eyed after listening to this song. My favorite was Baby Doll and Hey little Walter. Those where the days. Can't forget about my boys "Guy" and "Groove Me". Went to a Jodeci concert in 1992 or 1993 in Fresno, Calif. Fellow's for those who might be a little young man music was SLAMMIN in the New Jack Era. Peace!!!!!

No lie, when Bad Boy got big I thought Puff Daddy was Father MC with a new look. Damn homeboy had the TIGHT Gumby.

And yeah I remember watching Rap City with the Mayor and his lil' arm shake dance lol.

Oh and Color Me Badd's "Sex You Up" is STILL hot. That's my joint. For all the youngsters or people who just don't know, these dudes were essentially the inspiration for Dick in a Box.
