That's actually really bad for a cheetah if those numbers are correct.PS: You guys are great.

Then again, I could have miscalculated. I did it on paper, meh. I'll try it again.
And in fact, it's really about 1609 meters in a mile (with some decimal places), but I was just being general. Maybe someone else knows the conversions better, because you're right in that I must be doing something totally wrong, since that doesn't sound right at all (maybe twice that, eh?).Last edited by Blzer; 09-11-2009, 06:37 PM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Yeah but cheetahs are short burst high speed runners aren't they? They should accelerate super fast.PS: You guys are great.

You have to remember that the cheetah had to accelerate first, so that brings the average down a little bit.

Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

What's crazy is that it can follow those zig zags the gazelle was making while keeping the same speed.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

Re: Who or WHAT runs 100 meters in 6.19 seconds???
Well, I'm definitely calculating it right, looking at this online conversion site. I just don't know why we're not getting proper numbers. Again, maybe we didn't get the cheetah's top speed and we have to consider that it was accelerating the entire way through. I mean it probably covers 10 to 20 of the meters just getting into its sprint, you know?
Maybe if we got it between 100 meters to 200 meters, we would get a much quicker time, which would also be a much quicker speed. Either way, that's damn fast!Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
