well it's not really beyond them to set it up...again. They had people talking about the Eminem and Bruno thing a few months ago, and this will get attention too.

Why? It was Beyonce and two dancers doing a dance routine.

That's been seen hundred of times in videos.

Song wise, yes 'Single Ladies' blows it away... but the video is quite plain and not even worth a nomination imo.

Kanye is a douche. No one should be remotely surprised he would do this.

Regardless of who actually has the better video, the lack of class exhibited by Kanye there isn't debatable.

                  He's a complete douche.

I wanted Kanye to win something so bad so he gets booed all to hell and gets pissy like he did at coachella or wherever it was.

Lol, it has nothing to do her being half naked dancing around. If she were fully covered (almost anything short of a burka I imagine) I would have felt the same way. It was the dance routine itself, as well as it was shot as a continuous take. Not only that, I liked the homage to the Gwen Verdon video.

I have never seen a dance routine done as one complete take in a video before. If I have, it's completely escaping my mind right now so you could probably enlighten me. I've seen the story thing hundreds of times though, not that I have anything against videos that tell stories either, because I certainly don't.

Well, I like Taylor Swift's music (she actually does a pretty good job story-telling in her music but that is going to probably fall on deaf ears). I wouldn't use that video as a prime example of telling a story. I'm sure there are other videos in genres that I don't listen to that do a better job at telling stories. Just saying I would've took that video over the Beyonce one.

                            Fair enough, but I disagree.

Like I said each to their own, I didn't know about that dance routine done as one take, that is cool. Very impressive and they obviously put in a lot of hard work to do it. I'm obviously going to be biased because I want a little more than just dancing in my videos, and the fact that I'm a Taylor Swift fan.
