On another note, why do guys in this thread act like they're too cool to know who Taylor Swift is?? She is a bonafide megastar but people dont know her? Im not saying you have to like her, but man get real. I know all types of music. And she actually is really talented...dont care for her type of music all that much, but shes not a disney/nickelodeon factory creation.

Didn't watch it and never really planned on watching it anyway but after hearing all day about what Kanye did, all I can say is that im not surprised by it since he's the biggest attention whore in the world BY FAR(slight exaggeration).

Agreed. It is very easy to avoid these megastars if you do not listen to the radio, watch MTV or VH1, read tabloids, or go to internet sites with their names and music/work plastered everywhere. I know who she is, but I could not tell you a single song she has played...and that doesn't make me cool, it makes me unaware.

Really doubt Kanye did this for publicity, he's on Leno tonight...the debut. With Jay-Z and Rihanna. He has enough pub as it is.

Kanye just did it because...well...he's Kanye. He does something like this at nearly every award show, he takes these things way too seriously.

I wish he would have done it to Eminem though.
