Without spoiling it for people who haven't seen...I didn't expect what happened with Michael. LOL at the employees finally getting busted peeping on people in the parking lot from their windows too.

If next season ends up being Steve Carell's last (link for those that didn't hear) I really hope they bring back Holly in some form. I love Date Mike, but you know these two have to get back together at some point.

If Steve Carell does leave, his character has to leave with Holly. Nothing else makes sense. I feel like there'd be a mini fan uproar if he ended up with anybody else.

Back to tonight's episode, I really enjoyed it. High point for me was Dwight's attempts at wooing Donna. And the morse code bit was odd but hysterical.

I didn't see that coming at all. No way I would've guessed she was married. I was expecting the cheating thing... but married was a nice curveball.

I have a feeling Michael may not care and still stick with her.

I kind of hope they just end it if Carell leaves. You can't really replace him.

But they won't, because it's pretty much NBC's only fairly successful show. Maybe Charlie Sheen can replace him. (Spin City sucked after he got there, didn't it?)

This is one of the rare shows that I think could handle a loss like that, actually... the ensemble cast is as good as any show on TV and they have plenty of other good actors who can step into a larger role if needed. And frankly, it would make sense for Michael Scott to get fired/downsized, because he does nothing for the most part... they could easily write it in and have a string of hilarious episodes leading up to his departure.

I agree. I prefer to see Darrel compared to Michael as acting manager, with possible cameos or whatnot as his parts just don't seem funny anymore as they do uncomforable...except for his animosity with Toby which is always hilarious.

Creed had the best part yesterday; absolutely awesome.

I'm not particularity fond of Micheal anymore either. His hatred of Toby is by far the funniest thing about his character. I'm not sure how the show would be without him though. I think maybe it could last one more season. I've also found Jim and Pam (especially) character's to be somewhat boring and a little off-putting this season so, I'm not sure if they could particularly carry the show. Honestly, if they want to go out close to "on top" then ending it sooner would be better than ending it later.

The Office needs to close it up if Michael Scott leaves-he's the heart of the show. Carell is already rich, and a bankable 2nd Tier movie star, so he has plenty of options.

I'd like to know the deal with Pam's character too, Jeremy. It's like she must be the rational perspective now...She should go back to reception and put Erin in sales - that would be an interesting show, with her and Dwight going back and forth.
