ATI paid over a million to get DX11 in DiRT 2

FUD Zilla heard AMD gave Codemasters over a million dollars to make DiRT 2 DirectX 11 capable. The PC version of DiRT 2 was originally scheduled to arrive this month with the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, but the addition of DirectX 11 effects has pushed the game to December 2009.
