Re: Modern Family
Big fan of this show. It's rare to see a comedy that is actually safe for the whole family to watch. I don't have kids, but now that I'm getting older (late 20's) the whole "blood, sex, rock n roll, over-the-top" stuff has majorly run it's course.
It's good to see a show out there that doesn't need to "go there" all the time, but can still preach good, family morals while still making you laugh. And the cast is excellent. Everyone fits there character spot on. Happy to see Ed O'Neil on tv again, too, he is still great!Comment

Re: Modern Family
This show is hilarious, i think family-friendly is used loosely. There are some things that they slip in that arent for kids, but those are lines when everyone laughs and the kid turns back and says "I dont get it." I hope this show isnt just a 1 season wonder.GT: hawkeye2188Comment

There was a nice article in this week/month's Rolling Stone about how Modern Family could save the sitcom. Check it out if you get the chance.Originally posted by DaImmaculateONeHow many brothers does Sub-zero running around in his clothing? No one can seem to kill the right one.Comment

Manny destroying the girl in fencing was hilarious. As was Claire and Mitchell 'figure skating' in the parking lot!http://flotn.blogspot.com

Re: Modern Family
Lots of hilarious moments last night.
Really dug Ed Norton's cameo."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
