    Norton security stinks Back to AVG..Yeah me...

      Norton and McAfee are known resource pigs. AVG was the best until this past year. Also started to suck up more resources and was very difficult for me to disable in XP, plus all the extra added built in supposed conveniences. Following will most likely be a list of what people use instead......

      PCTools free edition for me thus far.

              I use Kaspersky myself and have had no qualms with it. It's definitely not the system resource hog McAfee is, that's for sure, and to this point I haven't been hacked *knock on wood*.

                      Avast is completely free, never any issues. Use common sense, don't go to sketchy websites and you will be fine.

                          Norton is a pile of crap.

                          AVG is pretty good, but I've found AVAST! to be even better after using both for about a year each.

                              I trust Avast! completely. It's been awesome for me.

                              I had AVG, it didn't work all that well. McAfee and Norton blow.

                                              I use Kaspersky too. It's fantastic, but it seems to have compatibility issues with MLB.tv causing my computer to have random blue screens.
