    *****Official***** iTunes Application Thread

I was figuring that so many of us have the iphone and always recommend apps in the iphone thread. However, there are apps that are in there within the middle that we may not get to for years if we do read the whole thread. I figure that I start an application thread to recommend applications with a simple rating (1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 Star). That way we can check out more applications that might interest us.

I figure that each user/poster can post the name of their applications on here followed by the rating you give. You can also post a little description of what it is, why you like it, how you heard about it, ect. Also, try to edit your posts instead of creating new ones. That way we don't have hundreds of pages of post being dropped. If it's even easier, I can have this first post be the post that updates everyday/week full of the suggestions that are dropped on here with the ratings. Heck, I'll put it in alphabetical order. Hopefully this works out well. If its not needed or wanted, I'll delete the thread.

    iTunes Applications

GuitarToolkit = $9.99 ( 5 Star) - Very good application for guitarist. I love the database of chords. There are so many. I also love the tuner which really has me fine tune my instrument. Very nice with the features where you can strum different chords to see how they sound or have them strung for you. You can also tune the strings in 49 different tunings. I would recommend this for iphone users. Of course there is an ipod application which is the "lite" version which excludes a few of the things that the previous version has.

Yahoo! Messenger = Free ( 4 Star) - Yahoo Messenger in your hands. Able to do pretty much the same thing you can do on the computer minus the phone calls. But it is on a phone. Pretty solid. I'd recommend it.

I think your thread title makes it sound like you have to fill out an application to get iTunes!

I wasn't sure if I should put this here or start a new thread, but I've been having problems burning CDs with iTunes. I've burned CDs before with no problem, but I guess since the newest update/version, CDs just don't burn in iTunes. iTunes is writing something since when I go to burn on the same CD in WMP it asks for an empty CD-R, however, nothing is shown as being written on the CD or according to iTunes' status window.

I have been able to burn CDs in the past and am still able to do so with WMP, so I know its not my disc drive. I am also able to rip songs from my CDs to iTunes, so iTunes is able to function with my disc drive - I just can't burn anything.

Any of you guys had any problems like this?

The Pandora application is cool. It's just like the website www.pandora.com

Was using it today on my sister's iPhone hooked up to her car stereo, took us back to the 90s.
