Because I just do :hehe: To day at work my boss came to me telling me that we have to find ways to pick up sales in my department which happens to be Entertainment and Electronics (Target). So she's decided on a two way contest. One is for the person that sells the most accessories and the other is for the person that brings in the most cash. This is all for the month of Oct. So we all write our names and what we did in a book she made. She can check it out through the system to make sure what we're writing down is accurate.
So this guy who usually comes in once every couple of months to buy phone cards came in. Because i rang him out before, he knows me and came to me over my other colleague there. He brought 399 phone cards, which came up to around $9,000+ but used a tax exempt from his company and a 10% off coupon he received from opening up a Target credit account.
So I called my boss over after the transaction and told her "I've already won." When she came over and saw the receipt for the transaction, she went nuts. So on the first day of this contest to push up our sales, I've already won. No one is going to sell 399 accessories, and the cash, yes someone could surpass me; however that's going to be hard to do since i will continue to work and rack up my sales
She said i'll recieve a special prize, but we'll still continue the contest, who ever else wins will only come in 2nd place behind me
