    Journey sounding REALLY good!

Just picked up new Live in Manila concert DVD...these guys sound as good as ever! New lead singer Arnel Pineda is right on. I didn't I heard one bad note. I'm shocked how similar he sounds to Steve Perry. I've heard some pretty bad comeback attempts, but this one is very impressive.

He is phenomenal. I remember hearing him the first time on YouTube just doing covers, it's uncanny how good he is! I'm glad they picked him up from nowhere. Just goes to show there are diamonds in the rough that are definitely worth seeking.

I'm going to have to check out that DVD. I love Journey!

My girlfriend and I saw them last year when they went on tour. The lead singer sounds very good. They put on a great show and filled the entire place up.

True story: I was looking up Arnel videos before he even got in Journey whenever they released Jeff Scott Soto. I sent the videos to Journey's myspace page and everything. So I like to think I was an intricate part in Arnel getting in Journey lol. But he really is amazing, and better than everyone they had before. Very close to Steve Perry, a little more raw in his vocal delivery which is nice. Saw them last summer with Arnel, he did not disappoint.

I think I remember a story like that before. You might have posted this once then. I thought that was really cool.
