LN46A550 Calibration settings for gaming on my PS3

I've searched the avsforums but haven't found anything helpful to me in my quest for maximizing the performance of my PS3's graphics on my tv.

I have a Samsung LN46A550 and I primarily play games on it. (Really just NBA 2k10 and FIFA) And I've noticed when I play with the picture settings the quality gets better, but still not what I believe is the best of the tv's capability.

Can anyone post some PS3 calibration settings for sports games on my tv here? I play at 1080p if that helps.

Gamec0ck, I know you want to help me out.

I don't think those settings are for games...I've been told to set contrast to 9 for gaming, whereas that says 95.

I think you mean Dynamic Contrast & not Contrast. Setting Contrast to 9 basically gives your picture 0 POP. Personally I stay away from Dynamic Contrast. It adds all type of artifacts to the picture,

The only setting that may need to be bumped up is brightness.

Looks like things are being handled nicely. lol

I'd probably use the settings bigfnjoe96 provided as a starting point. probably lower the contrast some (80-85) and raise the brightness (65).

Everybody's eyes are different so ideal settings are gonna be different depending on who you ask. Good luck.

I'm in the market for a replacement HDTV, this black friday. Less than 2 months away.

Heavily leaning towards a plasma unless there is a major deal on a good 1080p LCD.
