I was thinking more about this over my lunch break. (and yes, I understand I'm a giant nerd, and thought about this while I was eating, instead of boning some hot chick or something else that's incredibly manly)

I can see why people don't like TaE. It puts the audience (and a lot of characters) in incredibly awkward situations. I mean, just go watch Tom Goes to the Mayor. Every week, the Mayor fed Tom to the wolves... and I think that's why I stopped watching. Every week, Tom brought an idea to the Mayor, and got his idea warped into this frankenstein that had no other choice but to fall on everyone and crush them.

Tim and Eric keeps it fresh, but keeps the awkward. Often, they keep jokes going past the "funny zone", into the "awkward zone". But generally, for me, at least, they keep it going into the "hilarious awkward zone". But that's one of the key themes about TaE, and a lot of people don't like that. I was on the [as] boards when TGTTM came out, and I kind of liked it but it grew stale, and people were furiously against it. When TaEASGJ came out, I really liked it, and the same people on [as] got even more furious.

Summary: Tim and Eric's comedy is polarizing, and not for everyone.

That being said... "It's a free house I'll pee my pants. Jim, come get your damn land!"

That sketch is literally my favorite in the whole series. Every time I see it, I lol so hard it hurts.

Seriously, though...... how this is defined as comedy is beyond me. It reaks of the kid at school who simply acts like a dumb *** to get attention because he doesn't know what else to do and only thinks he's being funny.

The one that gets me everytime is the "Sports" video. Every singe time I see it it has me laughing out loud, especially when they get to the part where they name the different sports.

I love TaEASGJ. Watching this Xavier:Renegade Angel show now too and it has it's moments of LOL for me. Very weird and that's why I like both shows I think. They are out there and stupid as hell at times. Like me.
