Grunge Reunites in LA last week

Pearl Jam played in LA last week and they had Chris Cornell come out and perform Hunger Strike with them.

Also, Mike McCreedy gave up his guitar for Jerry Cantrell(AIC) to play lead guitar on Alive.

Both videos are in the link, Cantrell's video is only the last few moments of the song, but still worthwhile.

I love it when this happens out of nowhere. Also, the other two members of Soundgarden were in the audience. I wonder if anything comes of that.

    Awesome. Thanks for the link.
It may be wishful thinking, but I'm hoping for a Pearl Jam/Alice in Chains combined tour to promote their new albums. Maybe they could pull out some Mad Season songs with William Duvall singing Layne's part.
A Soundgarden reunion would be tough since Matt Cameron is a full-time member of Pearl Jam. I guess they could record and tour during PJ's downtime.

I had the same thoughts as you did, a PJ/AIC tour. I'd go to that in a NY minute.

They just need to get Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and AiC to tour together. That would be a kickass show.
