It looks to be one of those sequels that have you pretending it was never made (48 Hours 2, The Sting 2, Exorcist 2). Charlie Sheen is to be making the briefest of cameo appearances as Bud Fox, as Transformer kiddy Shia LaBeouf takes on a "Bud Fox" type of character.
It seems the main focus of the film will be the reinventing of a rehabilitated Gordon Geeko. He will be the good guy in the sequel. Looks shaky.

Hmmm if it's just an updating due to the global economic meltdown then i'll pass but if it's a geniune sequel that's well thought out and interesting then I don't mind. After all Stone directed the first one and he's at the helm for this one so it can't be ALL bad.

Hm...That makes me think, maybe I should pull out the original to watch over the weekend.

Without Sheen's Bud Fox in a meatier role, it loses a bit of legitimacy as a sequel. Charlie's content to count his $20 million a year salary from Two And A Half Men.
