One more question - I am deciding between getting an 8MB of RAM with 500 gb hdd 7200 RPM or 750 gb HDD 5200 RPM. Thoughts? I am researching which spec. I would be using for everyday use and some gaming ie The Old Republic, WoW, Football Manager. Thanks for the help guys

I dont think you will need it, I dont have the specs in front of me, but if your getting a 13 inch MBP, you wont need 8 GB thats for sure and I would recommend 2. I have an Imac, 24" and I run massive video editing stuff, photoshop and multiple web windows with 2GB ram with no slow down at all.

Someone once told me 2 GB on a Mac is equivalent to 4 GB on a PC. I hhaven'texperienced anything to make me think or feel otherwise.

Thanks guys I am just about to pick one up. I will likely get a 4GB 250GB HDD 13' for $1500 as it's within my price range and I can do the stuff I want to do on it

I thought about the gaming piece and I still have my ASUS gaming laptop which I will likely just hold onto. I just wanted a portable Macbook pro which will allow me to travel, surf, do some work and play Football Manager 2010/NHL Hockey Manager on.

Just ordered mine from Apple online. Saved myself an extra $150 for being a part-time student so that helped a bit. With the free shipping, it was best for me to go with apple directly.

Stupid me though forgot about the $100 printer rebate so I need to call them and beg to order a printer and be eligible for the rebate....

With expedited shipping, I will have it by Christmas hopefully. Can't wait to try a mac for the 1st time

I love my Macbook regular. Definitely run with Boot Camp for gaming. I had Win 7 beta installed on mine awhile ago just for gaming. Everything else, you will never want to go back to a PC again.

YAY!!!!!!! I officially got my Macbook Pro this afternoon I am about to try it out. Now, for someone who has never used a Mac, what should I pick up for accessories, programs, etc...

I'll be spending Christmas learning how to use one
