I have a 46 inch Samsung LCD HDTV. I've had it for a little over 2 years and have not had any problems with it other than slight shadow lines (mostly vertical) and one that is horizontal.
I've looked all over the internet for this and I can't find anything specific anywhere. It is very difficult to describe what it looks like. It is not a screen burn in, there are just very faint lines (about 3-4 of them) that I can see. You can only notice them when the screen is a dark color, night skies in games, underwater, etc.
There are also 2 spots on the tv. The best way I can describe them is like this. Imaging pressing down on an LCD TV with your index finger, it discolors the TV. Only this is like someone is constantly pressing down on it.
Has anyone else experienced these issues? Again, it is very hard to describe exactly what it looks like so I hope my descriptions make sense.
