Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
I use TweetDeck, too, as what I assume you would call a browser client. Falcon Pro is pretty sweet, started to get me focusing on lists which then got me thinking that Plume and the columns seems to handle this better than most apps. Coupled with the speed and appearance, Plume seems solid. The tablet layout is pretty ideal, too. Although I do find the integrated browser in Falcon to be the best so far. Seems like there isn't quite the perfect Twitter app.
I guess I wasn't kidding before about hoarding Twitter tokens. That's gonna be some real controversy in the future. lol Unless they start pushing sponsored tweets through 3rd party apps, which seems to be what they are most concerned about. Seems like the API changes aren't just some short term place holder, but who knows.Last edited by skywalkah; 03-01-2013, 12:57 AM.Comment

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
My popps wants a new phone, and even though he's eligible for an upgrade (Verizon) he doesn't want to renew his contract. I want to find him a cheap droid. He isn't the most tech-savvy; all he needs is something very durable.Comment

Not sure what the token stuff is about.
I use Tweetdeck because it looks the best. I also have Ubersocial and Tweetcaster for when Tweetdeck screws up.Comment

Twitter posted an update on its developer blog today, detailing the changes coming with v1.1 of the Twitter API. In summary, things aren't looking good
Falcon Pro recently found itself unusable for new buyers as the token limit was reached. It was believed a large portion was due to piracy, but it also could have been people who had bought and returned the app, never releasing their token. New apps are stuck with only 100k tokens available. When asked to expand, Twitter apparently deemed Falcon Pro as not being unique enough (not offering anything more than with official app) to grant more tokens. Which is obviously not true.
Falcon Pro is actually growing on me fast. Looks good, very smooth and has some great features. The integrated browser is certainly a feature every Twitter client needs.

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
So the Wife and I finally made the decision to get a family plan (and save about $10-20 a month) and with that I was finally able to upgrade from my Droid2 to a Note 2.
I must say, this thing is amazing. The battery life is beyond amazing as I've been running it for the past 30 hours, and I still have 30% left.
I know everyone will say that I should of waited for the S4, but I'm not sure if I could of waited. Plus, I wanted the bigger screen.
Anyone know the comparison to the 2 phones? (S4 vs Note 2)Comment

Just switched to Verizon. Never had them, I switched cause I get a 19% off my bill due to work discount, also got FiOS too. Discounts with having all..
Man thought I got the droid DNA and holy crap best phone I ever owned or even layed eyes on...1080p screen, jaw dropping, plus quad core...anyway not going nuts into it but best phone around and I owned almost every phone out there.
