Samsung released a video of Lollipop on the Note 4 and it looks exactly the same.

What a joke.

Shocked? Want stock lollipop look, get Nexus or Moto X. Considering ordering Moto X to add to my Note 4.

Never really bothered about pre-installed apps,always meant to find out about them but just didn't really care,so figured I'd finally ask about them here. Here's some that were pre-installed....which ones should I keep/get rid of/replace and why?

FilmOn Family Live TV
GameTanium
Norton Mobile
rara.com
ui intro

Norton is only one I've ever heard of before,and even then I might just get AVG to replace it(if AVG is free/better)

I personally don't like Norton anywhere...but Evernote I love using, I use it for all my passwords and log-ins for everything.


Have a question..this just seems weird but lately with the Galaxy Note 4 I've been getting the out of storage error/low memory. Ok I go into My Files and it says I have 23GB of Downloaded Apps. The thing is I have most if not all the Apps on My SD card and it's reading total space 59.59 with 55.54GB available.

When I go to Manage Applications it has Applications at 23.85...i'm not understanding what is taking so much space since my downloaded Apps are on my SD car...I go to move them and it says Move to Device storage....if anyone can understand what I'm saying what am I missing here? Why do I only have 683 mb left on the Device?

I just still hold out hope they would offer something new with touchwiz. They didn't even include the Torch widget on the notification bar that toggles your LED as a flashlight - this is new addition to Lollipop.

Just feels like they're mailing it in.

If the camera on the M8 wasn't what it was I would consider going back to it in place of the Note. Like the hardware just hate the software.

The delay in picture taking and low light performance is the only gripe I have with the Camera, really.

Just got my Note Edge in the mail today! Not going to use it til Christmas though, I feel bad having a new phone and not my wife, I will be getting her an iPhone 6+, heck may give it to her before Christmas just so I can use my new phone sooner!


I thought about getting a Nexus 6 but after watching several reviews and impressions I just could not choose it over the Note 4. The biggest turn off for me was the shorter battery life and inferior camera. Lollipop is a barebones OS right now, I felt that the Nexus 6 is a big beautiful phone but not much to do.

Yeah give us a review of the edge when you get a chance, I'll be upgrading in a couple months and wonder if the edge will be worth the extra dough over a regular note 4.

The biggest difference is the way the phone feels in your hand. Its akward, hard to grip, it can easily be dropped, plus you have to get use to the power button being on top. Besides that the phone is amazing so far.

I tell you what, the edge part is no gimmick its very useful just needs more support though but it has major potential. For the first time ever I will NOT have any icons on my screens, only wall paper and a few widgets. The regular Note 4 and the Edge are the exact same, just comes down to if you want to sacrfice comfort for something different which I am willing to do.

UPDATE: Honeymoon phase already over!
After playing with the Edge all day today I really dont think its worth the extra money. Theirs just not enough content for the edge part yet. Some of the panels like the CNN News one don't even work half the time, I dont like the Yahoo Sports panel because you have to choose a team or teams, I just want general sports news (a ESPN sports ticker Panel would be awesome), no custom icons, and lastly you cant even choose your favorite apps in all the panels.

Bottom line the Edge is not worth $200 additional dollars, it has lots of potential if it gets more support. I will be returning mine on Monday for a Nexus 6 or regular Note 4, I suggest give it a year to see if the edge gets app support and go with the Edge 2 if they release one.

That's kind of what I expected out of the Edge. Neat idea for some applications, but just not enough utility there to justify an upcharge.

So my phone finally but the dust. i had a Nexus 4 before on t-mobi l and i loved that phone
e but i have switched companies. i looked at the Nexus 5 at launch and decided that would be my next phone but the price has gone way up instead of a price drop. that's crazy.
