I am still on 08/05/16 security patch. Before this month I received all security patches by the first week of the month. I wonder why I never got the September one?

Funny, I re-enrolled in the beta with my 6P, its downloaded and now I have the Sept 6th security patch.


I already had 7.0 before doing this, but now I got.

For those that had a Samsung galaxy Note 5, Is it worth paying $300-330 Used (very good condition).

Are there better options in that price range? I'm on Verizon.

Nexus 6P is great(newer) and just a bit more. I also hear the OnePlusOne 3 is really good as well and cheaper than the Nexus 6P I believe.
Not quite sure if they are better than Note 5 or how much better though.

Rumor OnePlus 4 specs though, man...

and its rumored to be released next Spring.

This is what I had to do to get the security update for Nexus 6P -

*Make sure you have Android 7.0
*Enroll into Android Beta
*7.0 update with September security patch pushes through
*Download update - it will just end up being September security even though it says you are downloading Android 7.0
*Leave beta - no worries about leaving and wiping your phone. If you have Android 7.0 update already you will be good to go.

Hopefully I get the October update. People seem to think being in the beta and leaving has caused you not to get OTA updates, so who knows. Entering the beta and leaving after I get the update worked this time.

Pretty sure I am passing on the Pixel (guess there is a slim chance) but if I feel like leaving the Nexus 6P I can go OnePlus 3, LG V20 or even Honor 8 or wait for phones next year. Rumored specs for OnePlus 4 has it sounding amazing.

I'm loving my 6p still. I'll let Google get the kinks out with the 1st gen Pixel and then I'll seriously consider the Pixel 2.

Was going to get the Galaxy Note 7 back but with reports of it still having problems I may not mess with it, little to risky. Was wanting a phone comparable to the Note 7 in size and features...maybe I should keep this S7 Edge till next year or any other suggestions? I still have the Oneplus One but it updates so damn much now it's crazy. Got rid of my Note 4 because of the Note 7 but wishing I had kept it now after all this mess.

Anyone know a the best app that can read documents out loud?

Cause I got some word documents and don't entirely want to read through the entire thing, so it'd be helpful if I could just turn it into an audio thing instead.

AT&T and T-Mobile no longer replacing Note 7's saying the replacements are not safe either.

I'll probably go to the Verizon store and see if they can cancel my order and switch it to the S7. This is getting ridiculous.
