Got the Samsung Vibrant last Thursday and I have to say, Best phone i have ever owned. The screen and resolution on that sucker is amazing!!!!! It came with Avatar and wow.

The phone is still on 2.1 but its pretty freaking fast with its snap-dragon processor; not only that but it came with 16gb built in which is a big plus

I was thinking of picking one of these up tomorrow. It actually doesn't have a snapdragon, its samsung's own 1ghz hummingbird processor that is faster and has a better GPU.

I'm only hesitating because I hear t mobile is launching another smartphone in september to take advantage of their new hspa+ data network. It's supposed to be a successor to the G1, but I don't like physical keyboards. I might just take the plunge on the vibrant.

It's processor and screen technology give it two competitive advantages that no one can currently compete with. The only screen close is apple's new retina display.

Received an email from Best Buy. They have the Evo in I got a raincheck on last week. I'll be picking it up Friday. Gonna miss BBM and the OS Group Chat on my Blackberry.

It's awesome that so much has been made of the efuse in the Droid X, people were freaking out that they wouldn't be able to root it. And it was rooted 1,000x quicker than the HTC Incredible was.

Kudos to the hackers.

Just got the samsung vibrant a few hours ago. Loving it so far. Screen is bright ,gorgeous and very responsive to touch. I just learned how to use swype and can already type extremely fast and accurate.

It took me a while to get my contacts onto the phone. I had to export them from yahoo and import them into my google account.

Live wallpapers are cool and make the phone stand out. I like how facebook contacts are synced into your phonebook. The HD camcorder is also gonna get some use from me as I don't have a camcorder right now.

you don't have to use media player to sync though. you can just drag and drop mp3 files into the music folder on your sd card.

on the phone it says go to media player sync, but you're suppose to go to usb mass storage. look at the second link
