So if a girl does this kind of thing on tv, it's OK, even though they aren't even lesbians. Adam does it and it's a big deal? Society is SO TWO FACED liked this. If Madonna and Britney had never done it as a publicity stunt, Adam may have never done it. The fact he did, really doesn't matter to me. There wasn't any nudity or anything, so big thing. I wonder if people are gonna judge Adam by his sexual preferance and cd cover or by his actual talent.

No what he did was not ok, save that stuff for the bedroom Adam. shudders You had to watch it to understand it, It went way over the top. Oh and for the actual musical performance, it was terrible, this guy is talented?

The whole leash thing and simulated BJ thing was in very poor taste, especially because this was on ABC during prime time, and he deserves to be criticized for it. Whether gay or straight, tacky is tacky. Just another lame publicity stunt by a pseudo-celebrity.

Exactly, it's not that it was a homosexual based performance, it was the vulgarity of it. Keep your kids away from the tv when Adam's on. He deserves to be punished for that weird ****.

There's nothing about realness here. I don't give a **** about the lifestyle he's chosen, That is who he is. But you don't have to force it down everyone's throats. Dude we know your queer, why must you force us to accept it and display such a vulgar and all around disgusting performance. Have you seen it?! I'm straight and if I was in that position, I wouldn't bury girls faces in my pants, and have them on a leash. To prove my heterosexualness (not really a word I know) It was just ****ed up, and I hope this is a blow to his career.

Agreed. I'm not gonna bash Adam for his orientation. I'm just saying that the performance was horrible, and he went way to far with it.

The whole world does not want to see that performance. I would still be bothered if a straight guy singing did all that Adam Lambert did instead with girls. It was just so over the top man, It was one of those things that you just know is wrong.

I seem to recall the Madonna/Britney kiss being "a big deal" at the time, certainly in the mainstream media if not OS. And that was on MTV, not ABC. If I was a parent, I'd be PO'ed at Lambert's performance at the AMA, not because of his homosexuality, but because of the disrespect shown with the leash and the simulated BJ (and would feel the same way if it involved two women or a man and a woman). Especially since Lambert's fame has come through American Idol, and therefore his fanbase is likely young. I am neither Christian nor conservative, but that doesn't mean that there should be an "anything goes" attitude on network TV during hours when kids are probably watching.

Exactly.. we are on the same page. His performance threw all morals out the window, and was viewed by millions I would imagine, being on a mainstream station like ABC. And if a kid was watching that, then he should be ashamed. And you know there were. This is starting to make me angry lol I'm going to leave it at that, but I can't, **** you Adam, I feel better.
