Morgan Freeman is one of the most well-known actors in the world; the movie will always be about him. Just look at this thread; every post is about Morgan Freeman.
    Eh, I disagree.

For one, this thread is about him because we're all arguing with you about it, lol.

Two, he's a well known actor because he's a HELL of an actor. Joaquin Phoenix was a well known actor and millions of viewers bought him as Johnny Cash. Half the reason I WANT to see this movie is because I know Freeman will be fantastic BECAUSE he's Morgan Freeman. Like I said, he's not an unknown because he's so damn good... I KNOW he won't botch the role.

At any rate, we just have two different philosophies on this, so we'll have to agree to disagree, but regardles, I think this is gonna be a really good movie.

Unknown actors don't have the experience that a Freeman does either. An unknown is more likely to butcher a role vs an experienced actor.

Personally, I don't feel Freeman has any "baggage" he will bring to the part. Also, I don't go to a movie thinking the actor that is portraying a person is all about them. I go for the whole picture and what that actor brings to the other parts of the movie.
