    Food, Inc.

    Anyone else seen this yet?

Really, really interesting documentary film. Some of it is flat out scary as far as just how powerful the food corporations are in regards to controlling food regulations, etc.

For Netflix folks, it's available on Instant View in HD. I highly recommend you check it out.

Yes, watched it about a month ago with the wife. Amazing and scary documentary. I hope it forces some changes...we already eat a lot of organic, but after seeing this we are moving to getting our meat from a local farm.

Yeah, I watched this last week, mentioned it in the "what have you seen recently?" thread. I loved it, it was an extremely informative film and I've been recommending it to everybody I meet.

They seem to be the food equivalent of Satan.

Good grief, it's scary how much power that corporation has. They literally control ALL of the seeds in farming in this country and bully and intimidate anyone who doesn't work with them.

          Yikes.

I know man! That his just insanely frightening! That's why I've been trying to get everybody I know to watch this movie. I doubt any of them will though. I'm just going to have to tell them that Vin Diesel is in it and there are some "hella bad-***" explosions, lol. I made some hydroponic growing set-ups out of plastic storage containers so that I can grow my own produce, among other things. I still have a lot to learn about horticulture, but learning about things like Monsanto is just more motivation to do that.
