lol ya, Futurama really hasn't lost much quality over the seasons. The reboot had some not so good episodes, but overall it was the same Futurama.

Was awesome when the episode today began, Futurama styled couch gag! Ultimate remix video with Futurama intro with Simpsons characters in it.

The episode made me miss Futurama even more.

Weirdish plot with a rushed payoff, but not bad at all. Definitely should have been an hour long. Needed more of the other characters.

I enjoyed it a lot. Loved how they kind of scattered in some of the lesser characters from Futurama (Hedonism Bot in the couch gag, Morbo and whatever the female anchor's name is, Lurr at the very end, and, my favorite was Seymour, even though my heart pretty much broke when he didn't go after Fry.), which was something I didn't expect them to do. I do think they could have had a better plot, but it wasn't half bad, to be honest.

Well, this week's coach gag featured a parody of "Frozen" as part of their yearly Christmas special. Homer was Olaf the snowman. He ate his own carrot nose. Lisa was Elsa. She built her own snow palace.

Last week's episode was pretty good, featuring Elon Musk.(Sp; he's the inventor)

              This past Sunday's, meh.

I thought this past Sunday's was great. Hans Moleman as mayor was hilarious.

Al Jean already came out and shot this theory down, but I kind of wish he hadn't, because it's a really good one.

What if Homer has been in a coma for over 20 years?

Harry Shearer has announced he is not returning to The Simpsons. Shocking news. No more Mr. Burns, Smithers, Ned Flanders, Principal Skinner, Otto etc. You can't replace those iconic voices

If members of the cast are going to start calling it quits, then it just may be time for The Simpsons to g'oh.

^ Also Kent Brockman, Rev. Lovejoy, Dr. Hibbert, Lenny and Rainer Wolfcastle. That is way too many characters to change voices after all these years. This could be the beginning of the end.

There is no way they won't do the series finale hoopla. Hopefully they only drag it out without him for one season.

Always wondered what might happen to a show like this if a big voice actor leaves. Hopefully something can get worked out eventually, cause if the show just starts to end with very noticeable differences in the show(such as lack of certain characters,or replacing them with diff voice actors), it'd be a sad way to end such a long running show.

Really does look like Simpsons could be ending soon. Though we all know they could have their own tv network just airing Simpsons episodes 24/7 and it'd still work out lol. 48 episodes a day, meaning it'd take 13+ days(once the show is completely done with) to get through entire series on their network. There seriously could be a Simpsons network one day.

They found people to do Mel Blanc's voices for Looney Toons and stuff....

Sucks to see Harry go, but they'll have to find people who can do the voices and run with it...no way they get rid of those characters.

That's diff though. Kids won't care as much about voices being diff, and it's diff generation of fans who watch it each time. People who watch Bugs Bunny stuff aren't the same people as the viewers from last decade,or decade before that, or during Mel Blancs time.

If it was just 1-2 characters on Simpsons who needed new voice actors,it'd be easier to find replacement, but so many diff characters, it'd be hard. Though if they do just get new voice actor, hopefully they just go the route of getting a person who has a very similar voice,so it won't sound like a new voice actor at all.

I believe they usually have 6 months to a year in the can as it pertains to the voice acting so they still have material with Shearer in there most likely. I agree though, if you're going to lose a big voice talent like that than it's best to fold up the tent and go home.
