    DIRECTV: Your Favorited Channels

Some of you may have known that I was looking into get HD channels for my room. I was convinced by most of you to get it mostly for sports... other than sports, I really haven't watched a lot of TV, but man is HD amazing! Many old movies looks like it was just recently filmed. Like right now, I'm watching A Christmas Carol in HD, and it looks like it was recently filmed in modern times (it was filmed exactly ten years ago).

So what I'm asking is... what are your favorited channels (HD or not) for DirecTV? There are a lot of channels with DirecTV... so I would like to have a 'Favorites' list. I used to have one but I deleted it thinking that it would force me to 'explore' the rest of the channels, but now I'm struggling to find all the channels I'm usually interested in.

So yeah... what are your favorited channels in DirecTV?

I'll post mine soon when I find the time to look over a lot of channels and pick some myself.

I cycle between the locals, ESPNews, NFL Network, MLB Network, NBATV, USA, TNT, TBS, N@N, Fox News, or my TiVo.

My usual favorites are The Food Networok and TBS. I have all the movie packages so those are my favorite as well.

i think it's sunday's that HDNet has a wide range of concerts in HD ... you have not seen real HD until you've watched one of these concerts ... check the guide and see if there is one you like ... U2, 311, and Coldplay were amazing, but i'll find myself watching something i would normaly have no interest in (gwen stafani) just because it looks and sounds amazing.

Yeah, House Hunters and House Hunters International on HGTV look fantastic in HD. They are also very good shows in their own right.
