Question: Why would Elvis or Tupac fake their deaths AND stay dead? I have yet to hear a good reason for this. For example, I understand they might make more money after they are dead. After a while, however, wouldn't they make more money by all the sudden reappearing?

Maybe 2Pac faked his death to keep him from actually dieing. Hes had hits on him before, random and betrayed by friends (Suge, P. diddy).

...wouldn't it have been morbidly funny if he would have anticipated his death and had a recording that played if his casket was ever opened that shouted, "Helloooooo baaaaaabahhhhhhh"! Ok, that's gross.

LOL, actually the conspiracy theorists and the net contributed to them digging up the boppers body.

Apparently his kid who was born right after thge plane crash spent his whole life listening to crazy theories about the crash,etc. so they did this.
They were also moving the casket to a new gravesite with a memorial,etc so they just did everything all at once.

I find it hard to believe that in these days, especially with media and whatnot, someone of the magnitude of Elvis or Tupac could hide away from everybody for decades without being noticed.

I think Tupac could.

If he was in real danger, he could stay out of the spotlight for his entire life.

Keirik - it's not ridiculous if you look into some of the information about his death. Honestly I don't understand people who dismiss everything like this without having some sort of inquisitive nature about it. Yes it's probably what it appears to be but I really don't understand how one can't have questions.

The real question perhaps should be - so what if he is alive? Would we really want to see Elvis at 75 years old? He would be too old to perform probably. Would we really want to know that we were denied of his wonderful talent for the last 30 odd years? And why would Elvis ever come forward if he was alive now unless he is about to die? I'm sure if he was sick of his life at 41 then he'd not ever want to partake in the kind of insanity he must know would come forth if he were to come forward. Again, unless he was dying and just wanted to tell the world. And if that's true I think i'd rather not know.

Those are perhaps the more interesting questions to ask instead of the age old "is he alive?" question.
