I made this, but it's my friend in the video. 106,000 views right now. It's amazing the crap people put on youtube Watch video on right sidebar with 8 million views....

I made this video a couple years ago with my dad, whatever people say this video is legit. My dad has a bad reflex and I thought it would be perfect to show him the 2 girls 1 cup vid. It has 1.6 million views. Enjoy!

Best I have is Dante Hall simulation in 2K5 when I experimented with trying to get the CPU to return kickoffs (close to 34,600 views):

The Street Fighter vids that I posted here(and only here) have gotten pretty big. One is up to 75,000 views. I expect that it'll go to a quarter of a million when I do the fight stick tutorials right before Super SF4 comes out. Kinda crazy. I really just put those vids up for a few guys on this site, lol.

I never did understand how some videos grew so largely popular. Not to say that they didn't deserve the fame, but what got the word out? For instance, how did "Charlie bit my finger" get around so that it has millions of views? Did a bunch of people just randomly search, "Hmm, let's type in 'cute british baby' and see what we come up with today..."? I don't quite understand how that all works.

And again, not to say that I have made a video yet worth that kind of popularity, but when I attempt to someday, I want to find out what I would have to do to give it more than just a lick of views.

Ah, I gotcha. So, the OP can help spread it just by jumping forum to forum. He/she doesn't even have to say that it's his/hers, but maybe go in some off-topic forum and say, "This video is funny" in the thread title. If they find it good, they will show it to people in other forums, post it on Facebook, or show their friends as well. Makes sense now.

I suppose another way then is to get your channel popular. With so many subscribers, they'll see your videos on their own and do what they will with them.

I'll have to work on that, but first I need my digital camera to arrive (I wish I had a digital capture card as well).

This video got 24,000 views. It is just a video of a hockey match.

According to the youtube insight I've only gotten 12 views from OS so my plan didn't work

I posted an eight second clip of a cheap shot on steve smith back in like 2006, and it's got over 300,000 views. Saints and Panthers fans are still talking crap in the comments, even though it happened years ago.

It baffles my mind...
