Is Jay into the illuminati stuff? That's what the comment section on You Tube says; and the video doesn't exactly dispel that type of rumor.

I might've heard somewhere that he is a Mason or something. Not sure.

Definitely weird and kind of creepy. That's why I asked who directed it because there are a lot of images in the video that have meaning to them. Or maybe I'm just reading to far into it.

I liked the song... but the video was a bit creepy though.

Also I'm kind of worried about Jay. He's looking more and more like Mark Curry every day. Hell, he'd be my pick for a Hanging with Mr. Cooper remake if Mark Curry couldn't lace up his gym shorts.

Per the director:

…So what was the overall direction Jay was looking for?
He gave me a very loose brief, and made it clear that we should be progressive with the video. All the imagery was thought up by me and was a response to the track itself. For those interested, the idea is actually about a funeral for old imagery and ideas, hence all the gothic and oppressive stuff. I was also trying to contradict the excess of hip-hop videos by making something brutally simple and claustrophobic.
