The show wasn't cancelled, it's just being booted out of it's current slot.

Cbs News said NBC will end Leno show as of next month with possibility of going in Conan's spot, and Conan's people are trying to stop it. But this seems to be something that will change every hour.

I have to be careful with my words because that is what the news organizations are now doing, they have removed the word cancelled.
