IMO, this is quite simply the funniest show ever. The writing and voice acting are incomprehensibly good.

I read an interview with Aisha Tyler on avclub.com, and she said something that kind of surprised me.

Evidently each voice actor records their part separately. I know that's pretty standard for the animation genre, but the way the characters interact and argue with one another, I always sort of assumed that they were recording in the same room with each other.

Whoever edits the show does a hell of a job. Fooled me.

Even the shows that do record together don't have the flow that this show does, especially with all the super quick responses. That and how well they match each others' tones (Particularly her and H. Jon Benjamin) is amazing.

Reynolds rewrote quite a bit of his lines to "make it more self-deprecating".

Easily the best Archer season opener. Yeah, I know they're only three.

Some more hits and misses tonight for me, but the ending more than made up for it.

Actually, the whole walking through the jungle part was kinda...ehhh, but everything else was Archer quality.

I kind of enjoyed the jungle scene, but It became a little stale after a few minutes of it.. then they reeled it back in at the end,.

The ending and the Kreiger/Pam/Cheryl/Ray side story made up for the lull in the middle of the jungle part.
