*** The Amazing Race: Season 16 ***

The cast was officially announced today:

Jordan and Jeff from Big Brother are on it. I wonder if other teams will gang up on them because Jordan won Big Brother and Jeff won the prize from the audience. I know the US version of Big Brother isn't as popular around the world as Survivor, but I wouldn't be surprised if people from the other Countries help them because they view them as "celebs".

Also in the cast is 2007 Miss Teen South Carolina. Let's just say she has the looks but not the brain:

We also have our first ever lesbian team (that I can remember). I'll just say they don't look like the lesbians I see in adult films.

I find Allie really attractive so I'll be rooting for her team. The season starts on Feb 14th.

Hopefully ew.com releases the countries they will be visiting soon.

One of the teams features a coach for the Cleveland Indians (Steve/Allie). His daughter is hot. I cracked up watching their interview when Steve mentioned how he likes his daughter to mention Dad when they go out because he doesn't want people to think he's her pimp or sugar daddy.

I can't wait, I love this show. I'm not a big brother fan at all but told my bro who is and is real excited Jordan and Josh are in it. I honestly don't care who's in it, i love getting to know the contestants and picking the winner from the 1st or 2nd episode.

I enjoyed the first ep, though it'll take a little while to get to know all the teams.

Didn't mind seeing that couple be eliminated, they seemed a little bland so not sure they'd spice things up down the line. Shannon (the granddaughter) is cute, and so is the daughter of the baseball coach (more girl next door cute compared to the obvious hot chicks they get).

Not sure who's a favorite yet, but we'll see as we get a few more episodes under our belt.

- lol at Allie painting some random house that was under construction. The reaction from that one guy was priceless. Allie is one of the most attractive chicks to ever appear on TAR (cute in a classy girl next door type of way).

- Jordan thought they were going to China I could see this team getting help in other Countries because they were on BB.

- The gay guy cracked me up when he did his impression of Miss Teen SC. It was pretty spot on.

- When is TAR going to cast a young attractive lesbian team, you know the ones that we see in movies.......

i dont recall seeing the dad/dtr finishing this round of the race. some major editing , they just went to the couple who was booted.

maybe i missed them.

They didn't show them paint the actual outside of the house, but I believe they showed up at the exact same time as another couple, Joe and Heidi.

- The Cowboys crack me up. I'm pretty sure we are going to get some Brokebackish type background music before the season is over.

- Not enough screentime for Allie.

- The 2 undercover cops make Jordan look like a mensa member. I predict they won't last another 3 weeks.

The Cowboys are the break out stars this season. "Oh my gravy" These guys are really sneaky.

Jordan may be "spacey" but she is pretty cute. Allie and Steve must be really boring because they've barely got any screentime so far.

The Cowboys are the favorites so far, but everything has been about travel sense and/or physical. I hope they do well when its puzzle time.
