    Question about Twitter and Followers

I know all I need to know about what twitter does.

What I'm interested in knowing is whether or not you can post the comments of your followers on an independent page.

That probably sounds confusing so I'll try to explain:

Currently, if you have a twitter account, you can set-up a widget to have all of your twitter posts presented on another site. That's easy.

Is there a way to have your followers' posts present on another site through a widget?

I know there is software out there that lets you run twitter like a dashboard on your desktop and will present a number of followers and their updates in one page, but I'd like to take that same idea and have it posted online.

There is nothing questionable about the reasons either. I work for a production company servicing non-profit organizations and we'd like to have all of the non-profit twitter updates posted on our site for the non-profiting world to view. It'll make it easier for a random non-profit to stumble onto our site and see what other non-profits are doing - all in one space.

    Any help?

Re: Question about Twitter and Followers

There's a widget on Twitter's website that allows a created list of your followers tweets to be posted through that. You'd have to enter all your/the followers onto that list first though, then get the widget code from here:

I don't know if that's exactly what you need though.

That's a start but unless I'm mistaken, you have to select each tweet individually and then that widget will post your "favorites."

We want something that will update in real-time without our interaction.

Re: Question about Twitter and Followers

The last widget on the page, the List Widget, automatically updates as the people put onto the follow list updates. For example i made a list of some favorite actors and actresses of mine to test it and their tweets are showing up automatically. I don't think you need this though because it doesn't use your followers, only a twitter-list of people you make under your twitter account. I don't know if there's anything out there you could use for what you need.

But, that's a short term solution.

We can still choose which tweeters we want to show up on the widget. It may be a bit time consuming if the list is large, but if it updates automatically as they post tweets then that may be the answer.

          I'll have to try it.

          edit:

Trying this out now and this is looking like the thing we want. Thanks LionsFanNJ.

Closing this as my question has been answered. If anyone knows of another way that allows more customization than Twitter, feel free to PM me.
