    youtube dl'ing drivers/software

Can anyone recommend any one over another? Currently, I know of convertmytube.com and downloadmytube.com. Unfortunately, convertmytube.com is $29.99 for the software, which sounds OK, but I don't know if it is legit or not. Secondly, downloadmytube.com won't let me register as an error message pops up...in French for crying out loud.

    Any recommendations?

It's not ok at all to pay 29.99 for software that's free all over the internet. I won't go so far as to say it's a scam, but it's pretty darn close.
      1. Most of the videos you watch on youtube are already in your temporary internet files so you can simply copy/paste
      2. Or you could use Keepvid.com to DL youtube vids

if your on mac, download click2flash. Then when you watch a youtube video using quictime instead of flash, it shows a download link for it. If your on windows, http://youtubedownload.altervista.org/

That's what I use. There's also some other programs that can be used to convert the file format. And then there's a program called AoA audio extractor, that can come in handy sometimes...

There is an amazing grease monkey script that lets you do this. Not sure of the name. Gives you the option to download as FLV, FLV HQ, MP4, MP4 HQ

            Also gives you size viewing options of 1x - 1.25x - 1.5x - 1.75x - 2x - 2.25x - 2.5x - fill - max - full

Well you also aren't supposed to go over 65 MPH if thats the set speed limit, yet 99% of drivers do

                            Doubtful.

Unfortunately, yes, as it is their intellectual property. They, however, are expected to protect that property, and may sue someone like youtube for not protecting their property, I imagine. I may not agree with that, though.
