after winning the current ipad from OS Matchup, im most definitely picking up the new one when it launches as well.

for what we do on the internet, this is perfect. our desktop rarely gets any use now. only reason i get on it is to play NHL 2004 lol.

I hear ya, but at this point the tab market is just getting crowed and just stupid at this point, everyone and there mother are making tablets. I'm happy the market is giving options, but lets me real, there is no need to update every other month with a new tablet due.

I think the First Ipad is still strong and will continue to be this way even in the event of the xoom and Ipad 2. I say if you want an Ipad go and get one, yes the Ipad will be faster and have a camera, but in the end none of the tablets are going to make the Ipad obsolete, it will still sell well even in the wake of the others being released.

Android is good but has it's flaws still now, nothing is a giving that honeycomb for the xoom will be that great, at there release there are suppose to be a a handful full of apps available at release, to me that's still a risk because anyone switching from and Ipad is going to expect a lot and I think they will be let down. The apple market place is so well established it's there strong point even for the Ipad to still succeed. I have no worries, if you can live without a camera and a little added speed the Ipad is still a great device and will continue to be.

Just sold my 16GB Wifi Ipad for $400 this morning. Gonna pick up the new Ipad 2 whenever it releases. Should have some solid info on March 2nd about what's new for the 2! Can't wait.

Really, I have it and I think it's perfect, the apple Case with zagg screen protector, I'm good.

Also the hard candy street case is very good too. I had the outer defender case at first, too much case, it protected but makes the iPad way to bulky.

I'm really just in between if I'm going to get it or not.. I have the original iPad and it's great.
I just don't need a camera or anything and I don't know if I feel like goig through the hassle of selling this one and getting the new one. Anybody else going through this dilemma?

I'm right with ya, don't care for a camera, the processor in the IPad is fast enough for me, never had any speed issues with the iPad at all.


My iPad still has many miles to go for me in my book. As far as I know the new OS for iPad 2 and iPhone 5 should be able to run in th iPad too. Jobs will never leave the iPad in the dust, so many people own an iPad and people continue to buy it.

Just sold my previous iPad 64gb this morning, don't know if I'm really going to get the iPad 2 due to fact it doesn't seem to be much of an upgrade from original iPad, personally apple will have to add just more than stupid touch gestures for to actually get iPad 2, thinking about getting Motorola zoom, or both, will make my decision after apple official event about iPad 2, would be killer if ipad could run iOS lion.... Apple needs to make there tablet separate from other iPhone and iPods, seems like I you own one of these products, than Ur not missing anything
