I loved the show on Nick and i'm glad it's being made into a movie; supposedly three to mimic each book. For anyone whose seen the show on Nick, it does a great job of developing the characters and delivering a good mature story (for the most part)
When it was announced that M. Night was going to be the director, i wasn't soo sure. I liked all of his movies except for "The Happening," but with each movie he sort of went down hill and The Happening was the bottom of the pit.
This is the first movie which he himself isn't writing from this imagination. Having a source material to go off of will be interesting. The new teaser thats suppose to air today looks amazing. It looks like a great mixture of fantasy and martial arts.
I'm pumped and hope it makes enough to merrit the sequels it should have
