The other one I really liked was the one where they go through history as two computer geeks revel in the advancements of technology.

The dude at the end with the Doritos costume had me lmao for some reason when I first saw it. I just watched it again this morning and I'm not sure what I was laughing at...
Overall I'd say the one Linty posted was probably the funniest.Last edited by eDotd; 02-08-2010, 10:57 AM.

Re: 2010 Super Bowl Commercials
The commercials are never very funny, there are usually a couple of good ones and the rest are lame.
I really despise the people who come to my house and say "I'm really just looking forward to the commercials." I more or less tell those people to shut it or get out.
I'm just really tired of every year someone saying that and then every single year, "ah man, the commercials were disappointing this year." Yea, you think? they're freaking commercials.Comment

Not all longhorns are bulls. Longhorns can be male or female. Bulls are male cows that have not been castrated. Very few male longhorns are left intact and are called steers.
Also, longhorn bulls have horns that are usually 3-4 foot shorter from tip to tip than longhorn steers or cows.Last edited by Tomahawk; 02-08-2010, 01:25 PM.- LETS GO RED SOX!!!

Re: 2010 Super Bowl Commercials
That commercial was like my worst nightmare come true, but the media's cloud nine casting over a sunny day.
I thought most of the Doritos commercials were pretty funny at the moment I watched them. I've seen them again and don't know why I laughed.
The Megan Fox one was predictable, but I give it credit for basically exploiting the only reason to have Megan Fox in a commercial (or television, or film for that matter).
Google's was genius. Wasn't funny. Wasn't serious. It was probably the cheapest commercial made and it hit the hardest. If you didn't know what Google does (and there are many that actually don't) you now know.
The Tim Tebow one was incredibly overrated. People made a big fuss over that?
Always like the Budweiser commercials with the Clydesdale and whatever other animal wants to be like the Clydesdale. You know it's Budweiser. They just advertise the brand at this point and that's all that matters.
The Chicken ones from Denny's(?...I forget the restaurant) were just stupid. Very freaky. Though, after airing their commercials about three times, they were clever with the last. They knew everyone already associated the screaming chickens with their ad and the last one was simply the Chicken screaming and then Bam! logo. That's affective.
edit: Affective...except I don't even know what company did it. I knew then. Guess it wasn't affective.Last edited by CMH; 02-08-2010, 01:24 PM."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: 2010 Super Bowl Commercials
Overall this was the probably the worst I remember, but the two below I liked.
I liked the Doritos one with the single mom and the kid... and the guy walks in for the date and he picks up a Dorito and the kid slaps him and says, "Keep your hands off my mama, keep your hands off my Doritos!"
What a great commercial that was.

Re: 2010 Super Bowl Commercials
Anyways, I felt this year blew hard in the commercial department. The constant "dramatic gopher" animal commercials were pissing me off, as it was the antithesis of creativity. They spent like $2.6 million per ad to just running an already old internet meme into the ground, over, and over, and over.
The Letterman/Leno one was unexpected though..Last edited by bkfount; 02-08-2010, 02:15 PM.Comment
