You all know the saying be careful what you wish for. Stories like "The Monkey's Paw" and an episode of the Twilight Zone all offer respected stories showcasing this very innate concept. So i ask you guys, what is your one wish you could make if you could make it, and I offer the challenge to the other posters to explain how such a wish could go wrong. Think of this as a creative back and forth exercise, we could really outduel each other if we had to.
Case in point the concept of the Monkey's paw-
A married couple asks for an x amount of money.
They get the x amount of money, but only as a compensation gift following their son's tragic death.
Twilight Zone-
A man wishes to be a ruler of a contemporary country where he can not be voted out, and thus has control over everything.
Result- He is made Adolph Hitler ostracized to the bunker at the closing stages of world war 2.
This will be a fun exercise in having a person think of what they believe to be the full proof wish, and the other posters using their heads to find a way for that wish to come true at a price.
One rule for this topic- You cannot wish for emotions (ex: I wish to be happy)
