I agree being a child star can make one somewhat self centered but I didn't really get the feeling Corey Feldman was very self centered. I think maybe it's because Feldman was never the "nice looking" Corey and Haim was. So it was a combination of Haim's looks and movie star status at an early age. It almost just seemed like Haim was not very mature for his age, he seemed stuck in being 18 or 19 years old perpetually.

Maybe that's just how the Two Coreys was edited though, we all know those shows can edit however they want to in order to make someone look a certain way.

He was in one of my favorite child hood movies of all time.
It was called Blow Away with Nicole Eggert and the other Corey Feldman.
Nicole was smokin hot and naked through most of the movie!
Have any of you guys seen that movie?? I had it on tape for years.

Yeah, I was actually just talking about that movie with my gf yesterday because we were watching Nicole on Celebrity Fit Club. Kind of weird now that I think about it.

Anyways, this is some very sad news and I feel bad for his family. He was in some great movies in the 80s- Silver Bullet, Lucas, Watchers, Dream a little Dream, Licence to Drive, Lost Boys, etc.... It's a shame that he couldn't get over the typical childhood actor syndrome.

RIP Corey, I will say though his death does not appear to be drug related(illegal) so maybe he died like brittney murphy. A lot of people immediate jumped on the drug bandwagon when she died but it turns out she had a condition.

Renegade - true but drugs can indirectly cause your death. Dying so young is suspicious and even when it's "natural" sometimes it may not have occurred for 20 more years if not for the stress placed on the body by all the drugs and partying, not taking care of one's self.

no your right. I mean even if dude had a condition, his behavior over the past 20 years didn't help out. He abused his body and now he died at a young age, they almost go hand in hand. I just wanted to point out that he didn't OD or something to that effect. He appeared to be sick for a while then dropped dead, similar to brittney murphy.

Back in the day when the Corey's where popular most people that came in contact with them will tell you Feldman was an *** and Haim was more down to earth.
I remember reading numorous articles about how much of a self centered jerk Feldman was.

jake - it appears then that maybe feldman grew up and haim regressed? I'm mostly going from my experience of watching the two coreys. feldman seemed really "normal" whereas haim seemed pretty immature and petty a lot of the time.

Not shocking but still sad. The Corey's were big when I was growing up and I enjoyed a lot of their movies. I was always hoping that some how they'd make a come back. I remember watching an episode of that A&E show though and wondering how long Haim had. He just looked bad.

I agree that Haim looked pretty bad in that A&E show. I mean he still had his nice looks but you could tell he looked sickly, and that he wasn't taking care of himself. My younger sister is the same way, parties hard, gets 3 hours of sleep a night, smokes and eats fast food all the time. She has that same exact look about her.

just heard it took the ambulance 20 minutes to get there. Also Rick James died in that same apartment complex.
