Another thing is though, would you actually want W7?

W7 is moving towards the iphone. Rumours are that there will be no multitasking along with other withdrawals that WM users usually like.

XDA will have the HD2 running Android also if they haven't already.

Exactly. MS is looking to close the platform up, which pretty much goes against all what WM stood for up until this point. This why I'm excited about this phone.

I'm torn. Just don't know which way to go with the next purchase. This, wait for the Supersonic (HD2 with Android) or see what all this W7 hype is about.

Although after reading some more on engadget, not liking where MS is heading with W7. Tightly closed platform like the iPhone.

WM 6.5 won't be supported though. That's my main issue. I guess it still has a ton of applications that already work with it.

          Wow... The HD2 running Android?

That would be really hard to keep me from trying that out. How likely is it that they will be able to pull that off?

XDA? They are already running Android on some older phones (touch diamond 2) but apparently it's buggy and not for daily use. Could still access the marketplace and gmail, etc.

Otherwise officially, wait for the Supersonic but who knows if it happens or not.

They have the Touch Pro dual booting Andriod, still buggy/not fully capable, but it does work

Oh how I wish this phone wasn't locked into T-mobile network. T-mobile is a no go for my area.

You could wait for the EVO to drop this summer and get it if Sprint works for you. It's the same phone with Android.
