Need help choosing a 64 GB Flash Drive

OK today my ipod all of sudden got stuck on the apple screen. And I checked many different sites online on how to fix the problem, they all suggest that I restore the ipod.

Problem is my ipod isnt backed up anywhere so now I'm looking to buy a 64 GB Flash Drive. I want to choose the best one available but I have no idea how to determine that.

In terms of cash I would like to avoid spending over 200$. Unless you guys feel that its the only way to go.

Does it have to be a flash drive? Seems a bit steep considering you can get a 1TB hard drive for about $100 from most online electronics stores.

what do you mean when you say it's "stuck at the apple screen"? I had this happen a couple times with my ipod where it won't go past the apple, and i can't turn it off, all i had to do was let the battery run out, then recharge it and it was good to go.

Well it was stuck there for a while and when I did plug it in to my pc on itunes all of my music and videos were put as other. I looked around the ipod control hidden folder and I found out one of the files was corrupted.

So now my only chance to get it working again is to do a restore. I already lost 8 GB of music due to me messing around with it on my own. So Im goin to get me external device and just load whatevers left on there not gonna take any more chances lol!

Ive learned my lesson though Im backing up everything from now on. For some stupid reason I thought this could never happen to me boy was I wrong.
