George Lucas should be shot.
He said after the prequels he was done with Star Wars so he could concentrate on his other ideas and visions. What other ideas? All you have is Star Wars! And you're ruining it!
I really wish he'd suck up his gigantic ego and realize he sucks as a writer.
Hand over the creative reigns to some of the more talented Star Wars writers out there and let them come up with some cool new stories.
Think about it? What's considered the best Star Wars film to date? I would imagine a majority of people would choose "Empire Strikes Back". And that was the only film of the 6 that Lucas didn't write or direct.
I think a new sequal of films could do amazingly well in the hands of a more capable scribe.
Even a CGI movie with new characters and themes would be a hit with a younger audience.
Give the new generation a whole new set of heroes and villains to root for.
And with a great writer, the old generation will love it too.Comment

The Robot Chicken Star Wars episodes are hillarious. I'm looking forward to this. Seth Green's a huge fanboy, so I think he'll create something that will make the fans happy.Comment
